I had a wonderful time exploring the nearby Adventure Oasis Water Park, which is about 5 km away and perfect for a day of fun. I loved how easy it was to visit the historic Harry S Truman National Historic Site, just under 6 km from my stay—both spots made my weekend in Independence memorable.

The kitchenette suite provided ample space and a functional layout, which was promising. Additionally, the hotel had a nice location close to local attractions, making it convenient for exploring.

However, the overall experience was marred by serious cleanliness issues and unprofessional staff interactions.

Just an excellent fit for a two-day stay in Independence with value for price. The coffee was decent at least, but it would have been nice to have something more for breakfast.
